Joseph N. Fordyce, 65, died Friday at his home in Danville. The funeral was held in the Federated church in Russellville Sunday. Mrs. Fordyce survives him, with their daughter, Mrs. Rose Bridges of Indianapolis, and a son, Robert of Russellville. Fortch, Mildred Newton 5/27/1937 Mrs. Mildred Newton Fortch, 27, wife of Adrain Fortch and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Newton of Crawfordsville, died at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette Wednesday May 19. Russellville – The funeral of Joseph N. Fordice, who died at his home in Danville Friday night was held in the Federated Church here Sunday afternoon.  He leaves a wife, Nellie Kendall Fordice, one son, Robert and a daughter, Mrs. James Bridges of Indianapolis. Among those from a distance who were here for the Fordice funeral Sunday were: Mr. Moore and Ralph Sturgeon and sisters, Tuscola, Ill; Miss Maud Biddle and Mrs. John Spencer, Indianapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Hargrave, Rockville; Mr. Fay Hamilton, Miss Bess Hinton, Mr. Geo. Hinton and Mrs. Geo. Frank, Greencastle; Mrs. Noble Miller and Mr. Roundtree, Crawfordsville and Mr. Ben Hargrave, Ladoga.
